Over the years, I have taken a ridiculous amount of Psychology courses (it being my major) and have always been fascinated by different theories, but this one caught my attention almost immediately during one of my Social Psychology courses in undergraduate. We didn't even go through the theory in depth, my professor just mentioned it in passing talking about the Psychology of Love and the current research. I fell in love with the theory of love.
I've had this one on my shelf for a while, but for some reason I could never bring myself to pick it up. I think it was because this book is so widely known and affiliated with rape, and I wasn't sure if I could handle it. But I did, and it was interesting.
I didn't like this as much as the first installment, but I think that can be attributed to either the time period/society rules or to the BLARINGLY obvious love triangle.
Finally! A Schwab book I can get behind. I heard good things about the villains and good vs. evil of this book, which is exactly what I was looking for and I was happy with the plot and characters.
