I know 3 stars seems bad, but it's really not. I think that this book is very much needed and gives incredible insight into the disaster that is California's gang life as well as police procedures and interrogations, but I think that there are certain things I wish were done differently.

This was a great ending to a great series, but the journey was much longer than the very shortly resolved ending.

Wow. I read this because of everyone's anticipation of Obsidio, and I'm so glad I did!

I really liked this one. It was just so original. I have a hard time with magic realism because I feel like there's usually too much or not enough magic, but this had the perfect balance.
