I guess I really do have the unpopular opinion because I see a lot of low ratings for this book, but I was so entranced. I guess that comes as no surprise since it's compared to one of my all-time favorites, The Name of the Wind (which I had some qualms with).

 

Random Update

 

I just realized I haven't posted any pictures of Pepper since I got her 3 months ago, so here you go.

 

 

I've never seen a cat that loves fire, but she does. She also stretches her front paws out when she's super comfy and head-butts me awake every morning which is convenient on most days, but torture on the weekends :)

 

 

 

 

Also, Throne of Glass has pretty much taken over my life & reading list so I've been putting some stuff off to keep going with the series (including A Breath of Snow and Ashes which we all know will probably take me like 2 months to read)

This is a brand new world in fantasy that was very elaborate and worth reading for the imagery alone.
